By equating speciesism with racism and sexism, don’t you equate animals, people of color, and women?

All forms of discrimination are alike in that they exclude or undervalue the intrinsic worth of beings by using some ethically irrelevant criteria such as race, species or sex.

For example human slavery and speciesism are similar in that they ignore this intrinsic worth to justify some end, such as free or cheap labour. The animal rights argument does not disrespect human life it increases respect for all forms of life.
